Challenging Well Being Company
Happy management, a company that values its employees
1
Challenge for Decarbonization, environmental management

Yoshida Industries co., ltd. is committed to environmental management. Every year, we set a target for
reducing CO2 emissions and reduce energy consumption through solar power generation on the roof of the
factory and reuse of waste heat. All metal waste generated during cutting and aluminum casting is
recycled and managed to be reused.
2
SDGs Initiatives (YOSHIDA’s TPM Activities)

In order to promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we are implementing Total Productive
Maintenance (TPM) activities. Through these activities, we are continuously developing human resources,
improving work processes, and improving equipment, and achieving “productive maintenance with full
participation” and “productive management with full participation.”
3
Diversity and Women’s Participation

“Employees are our most important asset.”
We provide an environment where all employees can work happily. We subdivide tasks and improve facilities to ensure that all employees, including those with disabilities, can thrive. We also support skill development and career development, allowing employees to return to their previous workplace after parental leave. Employees from diverse backgrounds utilize their unique strengths and grow together.

welfare

We place importance on the work-life balance of our employees, and offer systems such as healthy meals,
support for obtaining qualifications, a brother/sister system, and birthday leave. We also encourage
employees to refresh themselves through long vacations of around nine days three times a year, creating
a warm welfare environment that makes employees feel happy.
5
Community Contribution Activities

We carry out our production activities in the naturally blessed area of Saku City, Nagano Prefecture. In
order to let the local community know about the wonders of manufacturing, we also offer manufacturing
experiences and factory tours to local children.
6
Dot Percent 0

This design team is made up of young members from a department that provides various prototype
development support. By incorporating service design education, we aim to provide products that exceed
the expectations of customers and the market by even 0.1%.

Metalverse project

Our core technologies are precision cutting of steel and aluminum casting. “Metalverse” is a project
organized to explore new possibilities for metals. With the support of the Society of Industrial Support
Center (SOIC), we are promoting products and services in collaboration with local brands (Medical City,
Saku Carp, local sake, etc.).
