Yoshida’s Commitment to Quality

Since its founding in 1965, Yoshida has continued to manufacture important safety parts such as brakes, engines, and transmissions for automobiles and motorcycles. We believe that the quality we have cultivated over this history is an absolute strength of Yoshida.
Not only do we maintain the quality level required by our customers, but all of our employees work together to achieve a zero defect rate, knowing that every single part we manufacture affects human life.
Productive maintenance and production management with full participation
TPM×YMI

TPM activity
(Total Productive Miintenance)
TPM activities are a management method for creating systems and mechanisms for continuously implementing human resource development and operational and equipment improvements, with the aim of building a structure that enables manufacturing companies to secure sustainable profits. They are also known as “productive maintenance and production management with full participation.
YOSHIDA is also working to create its own unique system by combining TPM activities with its efforts toward the SDGs.

Each employee contributes to the company’s strength
(Yoshida Monozukuri Innovation)
Activities began in April 2007. We are working to eliminate and prevent waste through “actual sites and actual things.” “People move, organizations move,” and activities are continuing based on a general consensus that “this is how we will do things from now on!” rather than just because that’s how it’s always been done.
Digitalization initiatives

Digitization of manufacturing processes and documents
We have placed PCs and tablets in the factory and created an in-house portal site that reflects all business matters.
This is promoting digitization (paperless) within the factory and shortening work hours.

Start-of-work inspection using QR codes
We created a start-of-shift inspection sheet using the OneDrive app “Forms.” We created QR codes for all NC lathes and attached them to the equipment.
We now conduct start-of-shift inspections using smartphones in an effort to improve safety.

Non-contact measurement
The introduction of the KEYENCE TMX image measuring instrument enables non-contact, fast, and highly reliable measurements, even for products with a wide range of measurement items.
In addition, automating measurement tasks that previously relied on manual or visual inspection has led to improved quality and work efficiency.
