Project Overview

As part of the 40th anniversary of “Fist of the North Star x Saku City” project, Yoshida Ind. produced a bust of Jagi and donated it to Saku-daira Station. The commemorative monument was unveiled at Saku-daira Station on September 15, 2023. Upon entering the ticket gate, visitors can see a life-size bust of Jagi, recreated exactly as he appears in the film.

Jagi’s bust has been meticulously recreated down to the smallest detail using aluminum casting and mortar molding. Yoshida Kogyo’s technology and the cooperation of Spiceseed have resulted in a powerful, lifelike finish. This project also embodied the contributions of many stakeholders, including the original author, Buronson, and Saku City Mayor Yanagida.
